PLAYORENA co-owner Gül Türkman graduated from American Academy for Girls (Üsküdar Amerikan Kız Lisesi) in 1975. She earned her B.A degree in Psychology and Clinical Psychology M.A degree in Bosphorus University in 1981 and 1985, respectively.
